Work in progress.

Here a selection of pics to show the story of this big twisted scots pine named “alligatore”. Tree was collected in a rocky place here in the North of Italy in 2006.

After couple of passages 😉 it found it’s way to my garden in 2006

The Autumn of 2007 I started to give it my stiling. Bending the long branches a lot to make it compact and put the part of the twisted trunk in the spotlight because that I liked most, all with the help of my friend Giuseppe.

The spring after I wanted to place it in a plastic bonsai pot because the rootball was still with the original soil and also the previous red plastic container was to high.

After two next growing seasons, where we let the grow freely, it was time to style it again together with my friend Viriato from Portugal this is in August 2009.

Here the last pic of tree . Summer 2010. Still a lot to do on this old yamadory but I’m happy with the work we have already done!!!!!
